The students in Paoli Elementary ran the zoo today! Students were allowed to bring stuffed animals to school or wear animal print to celebrate the Dr. Seuss book “If I Ran the Zoo.”

Representatives from OBI and us here at Paoli want to thank everyone that came out to support our Blood drive. We made our Blood drive goal and saving lives! Thank you again to everyone!
Paoli Elementary students were a little WACKY today! We celebrated Wacky Wednesday by wearing our clothes inside out, backwards, or mismatched in honor of Dr. Seuss for Read Across America week.

Just a reminder that we have the blood drive going in til 3pm today. They are parked in the parking lot between the high school and cafeteria.

Paoli Elementary is celebrating Dr. Seuss and Read Across America this week. Today we had a “Green Eggs and Ham” Day. Students wore green and we enjoyed a yummy Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast with a Cat in the Hat fruit snack.

This is a reminder that any medications, prescribed or over the counter, must be turned into the office and should only be dispensed by office personnel. They cannot be left on the student or in a locker, they must be turned in.
In honoring the memory of Xylan Wallace, the Shackleford’s have Life Share coming to Paoli to raise a flag for awareness of organ donations. It will be at 2:30 on Wednesday at the flag pole. If it rains the flag raising will be in the gym.
For our students 16 and up, and adults, Paoli High School is having our Spring blood drive this Wednesday 11:15-3:00pm. OBI is bringing their mobile blood drive truck and will be parked in the high school parking lot. Please come out and help support our blood drive to help Oklahomans!

🍎🥧 A is for Apple Pie! 🥧🍎
In honor of the letter A, our Pre-K kiddos read The Apple Pie Tree and then made their very own apple pies! They loved connecting the story to a hands-on cooking activity — and it tasted delicious! 🍎

Free event at Rec Center.

Our Paoli school and basketball teams have had a tough week this week. We just want to wish them all good luck as they travel to Chattanooga for the District playoff games. Go Pugs!

Tonight will be Paoli's Senior night basketball game vs Thackerville. We will celebrate seniors basketball players, cheerleaders, and archery students. Our 2nd Graders are 100 Days smarter!

Unfortunately we won't have enough players for the girls high school basketball team to play for the consolation game tomorrow morning at Bowlegs.
Paoli School will be open Friday. Students that drive will need to park in the area that has been cleared just east of the HS/old teacher parking. If a parent wishes to keep their child home please call the office in the morning.
The highways are clear, but all other roads in the district are still mostly ice and snow covered. Buses cannot run safely in the morning, so Paoli will be closed/virtual again tomorrow, Thursday the 29th! Please stay safe!
I want to brag on the Hs basketball girls. The girls have been battling all season and giving their best, even with just 5 girls on the team with no subbing out for rest. Right now they are 5-4, and this Saturday they will be playing for the consolation trophy at the Bowlegs tournament. Go Lady Pugs and keep working!
