Academics
Students are provided a range of educational experiences including the basic education program, electives, and athletic programs. A strong technical education program enables students to experience a variety of technical skills. Many of our Junior and Senior students take concurrent classes taught through our local colleges that count toward their High School graduation as well as for college credit.
Rigorous requirements for graduation at Paoli High School better prepare students for educational or work experiences after high school. Through the library and computer labs, students have ready access to the Internet. Many Paoli High School students choose to attend the Mid-America Vocational Technology Center at Wayne, OK.
Paoli Public Schools has outstanding extra curricular programs to offer students. Our football team strives harder each year to be the top in the class C (eight man). Each year several players are usually chosen for Conference honors and All State Honors. Other athletics offered to students include girls slowpitch and fastpitch softball, girls/boys track, and girls/boys basketball. Archery and Trap shooting teams are enjoying success. The HS Archery team placed 2nd and 3rd in State in recent years in Tier 2 competition. The varsity Archery team was in the top 15 in the state in all classes. The Academic team at the High School has had much success also, placing 4th in state in Class A during the 2020-2021 season.
Several special programs serve the students and community of Paoli. The Oklahoma Parent As Teachers and the Whitebead/Paoli OPAT serves families who have children 0 - 3 years of age. This program is designed to train parents in parenting skills to enable them to be more effective first teachers for their children.
Our cafeteria offers nutritional breakfast and lunch programs for students. Meals are provided for free for all students at Paoli Public Schools.
